I’m looking to find musical chemistry through jam sessions and covers, with the ultimate intention of writing, recording, and touring with original music. I like drop-tunings (especially C and C#, but I’m more than willing to branch out). I can read and write tabs and sheet music well. I’m more than capable of writing original music alone or in a group setting and my lyrics don’t totally suck ;) I was formally trained as a classical guitarist, and that flavor bleeds into my writing from time to time. Also, i can sing fairly well and I like to scream too :D
I’m looking to start or join a three to five piece band and I have a very strong stage presence (i.e. I’m not going to just stand there and look at my fret board!)
I like to have fun as much as the next guy but I understand that rehearsal time is rehearsal time, not hang out time or learn-the-part time. I’m not a stick in the mud but I know when it’s time to be professional and when it’s time to fu*k sh*t up ;P
