Now Seeking Experienced, Available, Dedicated Experts:
Bass Player - dedicated to audience enjoyment and band continuity. All about the Bass, not ego;
Also- Shared position with Trumpet and Sax - both with some background singing ability.
CHARTS provided for bass and horns, and room for your unique Solos You can find us and our contact info with the bare minimum of research skill on internet
All 2024. Avg. 3-5 gigs per month- May Sept.
Simple basic back up singing or Call and Response at min.
Available to gig a Minimum of 5 times per month, and a few in December. VKB plays Private Events & Public Community events, Festivals, Country Clubs, on weekends, mainly
Criteria: Dedicated to one main band (ours). Available. Wants to cause smiles, be amicable, congenial, shares the stage, doesn't bury the lead.
Looking for a 6 month commitment for 5+ gigs per month.
PREFER cheerful, experienced, musicians who can help with back up vocals / carry a tune, or at minimum call and response
Social media 'likes' & shares are Required. Which involves only approx. 5 minutes per Week ! Assist with set up / tear down when we have to provide sound in order to pay musicians more $ ! You receive a Guaranteed pay amount per gig regardless of Venue's pay.
* Work well with others, be proficient, and Accompany the Lead vocalist and / or back up.
* Fulfill Social Media response roles. (20 minutes per Month)
Musicians to be rehearsed, prepared, read music / charts, and competent; AND help promote via FB, and other social media; promote the band's upcoming events and post them
Bonuses paid $$ for any VKB gigs found for band by musicians.

About YOU - AVAILABLE - not over-booked. Preference to being dedicated to one band that pays well, instead of random mercenary gigs. Cheerfulness; Stage Presence matters / can be taught. Own / use a Smart Phone or have access to e-communication technology. Understand and respond to Texts, Emails, Messages, Phone calls, etc.
BE able to learn & use VKB online shared calendar for un-available dates, and gig instructions.
Be reachable, and responsive, reliable.
We Practice at home and come ready to PLAY at our group Rehearsals.

Equipment may be combined, available.
Full sound system, suitable for most venues; Many Festivals provide Sound system or we hire a sound tech
Musicians should have their own monitors, if needed
Dedicated, Private, Rehearsal Space in the downtown area Vic Village / Arena District Area / Grandview
Band will provide for any needed 'road' equipment.
Able to subsidize / guarantee minimum nightly fees, if you are a accompanist musician that is worthy
FYI- 'Practice' means At Home.
Rehearsal- usually once or twice a month together as Band, pre-practiced.
