The new CD "Night Train Home" by the Double Barrel Blues Band moves the blues into the Twenty-first century with excitement. Mark Cloutier's playing reflects traditional guitar stylings of the past while inventively pushing his blues solos to new dimension. His composition, " Stratgun In Our Hands," is one of the most innovative songs heard in years.

John Hart's splendid song writing and unique singing style (not to mention his swinging guitar groove and slide work) make this band one of a kind. He seems to have lived every note he sings.

The two “barrels” of this band enjoy the freedom to be lifted by the music because of the wonderful rhythm section of Bill Satterly on bass and Garnet Grimm on drums. They support the vocals and guitar work when appropriate but comment tastefully on every track. Any airborne musician would enjoy flying above these supporting players.

These fellas released a 2009 DVD as well.."Live at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena"... A 1 hour set of smoking blues-capturing a sizzling performance ! Radio DJ Johhny Keegan had this to say about their set:::: "The Double Barrel Blues Band absolutely stole the show!"..............

Mark Cloutier (started playing guitar at 14 years old and has been playing for 30 years now.) and his guitar work will send shivers down your spine.
