Rhythm patterns, scales and chord progressions are the keys to playing pop music. I am one of the only music teachers in Orange County who thinks this should be part of learning an instrument. I teach guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, uke and producing, all with an emphasis on understanding what you are doing. Reading traditional music notation is optional, since following chord charts and reading tab can sometimes be more useful.
I usually work with advanced students or highly motivated students, and I have a band program for those who are ready for the group experience.

In the studio, I have co-produced two major albums (one with Stan Ross) that received radio airplay and played on many sessions. I have also produced countless demo sessions, sometimes playing all the instruments and doing all the vocals.
I am always recording and always looking for the next great female vocalist. If you've got the voice, I've got the songs!
