I've been playing guitar for 17 years now. The last couple years I've invested most of my time learning slide and writing music. I'm constantly recording on the GarageBand app, and in the last few years, I've started writing 20+ songs. The reason I'm on this website is to find like-minded musicians that love to write and record original music. I'm hoping to find someone that has a strong background with music theory and can help me finish my ideas and help cement the sound that I'm going for. At this point I don't know if I'm open to singing. I do enjoy writing lyrics and vocal melodies, but to be honest my guitar playing is a lot better than my singing. My ultimate goal is to write 2 albums worth of good music with a partner that has the time and energy to help with this scenario. I honestly don't care what instrument this person plays, as long as they have a creative ability to produce music. Out of all the ideas I've got recorded so far, there's no one single genre I have committed to yet. My style of slide guitar is rather unique and has a bit of an electric sound to it. I never struggle to write catchy guitar licks, but I don't have any formal education with music theory. I think I've got a lot of strong ideas, I just need that extra boost. Are you that person I'm looking for?
