I'm a 49 yr old baritone with, in my slightly less than humble opinion, good tone, good timbre, and nice flexibility in styles. I can sing the old do wop stuff, step into a little Sinatra, jump to Joe Cocker, and right into Whitesnake. I love singing with soul, and I can dirty up to the blues. Southern rock is another pitch that fits into my wheelhouse. And my voice box was made for torch songs.
A have decent falsetto, and I harmonize well. I don't play any other instruments. I had a drum set once, and the way my friends described was like this, "what he lacks in talent, he makes up for in enthusiasm." And they were my friends! My voice is my instrument.
I joke around a lot, but I take doing the job right very seriously. The plan is for people to pay money to come see us, and I want to honor that by putting the best performance I can out there.
I don't so drugs. In my career as an emt and dispatcher, I'm subject to random drug tests, so you can be assured of both my employment, and my drug free status.
I don't do ego trips or power struggles, and I'm looking to be crowned. I just want to make good music that people like, with people I enjoy making it with.
I probably talk too much too.
