Looking for s band needing an upright bass player. Church, club or festival work.

I am not interested in touring (been there done that) or playing 4 nights a week. I have a day job (teacher) and have the summers off, so could travel some. contact: robhorne or uprightbass

Bio from recent theater show:

Bob Horne (Bass) - Bob has 50+ years of experience on string and electric bass. Road and studio work with Bonnie Raitt (71-72) and Joe Cocker (77-79). A founding member of Boston's American Standard Band who became the in-house session band for Island Records during the late 70s. ASB recorded five albums on Island and was the backing band on many recordings, including Robert Palmer's multi-platinum single "Bad case of loving you."

DVD - "Joe Cocker: mad dog with soul." A documentary about Joe with a chapter about how ASB became Joe's touring band starting in 1977. I am 4th from the left.
