SEEKING

Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums.

ABOUT

Seeking a bass player and drummer to form a power trio that does late 60's/early 70's hard rock/blues influenced music, and hard rocking, blues based music, plus write new originals together. Backup vox/harmony by either drummer and/or bass player a plus, but not deal killer. I do a lot of Hendrix,Trower, Clapton, etc. and classic old blues songs with added fire, and other blues influenced hard rock. No wimpy stuff, just music with an edge to it. I put my own stamp on the songs and leads and encourage freedom for you get your licks in and improvise live. I just love playing live and getting the audience off.

I am looking for musicians who really love this style of music and the improvisational opportunities it lends itself to. I am NOT seeking to be in a standard top 40 classic rock band. Top 40 classic rock is great, but I want to do something a little different. Some of the songs I do fall under the classic rock category, but has a harder rocking edge than some top 40 stuff. This is important. I play and sing songs that play to my strengths. I have a list of about 40- 60 songs that rock.

I have nothing to do with drugs, period. I am looking for drug free musicians who can be creative and enjoy the music without that. I personally don't drink. I don't mind if you do, as long as you can handle your alcohol properly. For me, it's a LOT more fun when all 3 people have their sh*t somewhat together in life. It carries over to the music. Thanks for reading.
