ABOUT

I perform solo or in duo arrangements in the Chicagoland area weekly. I have averaged playing out about 90 shows per year for the past 12 years, with much more stage experience prior to that. I have about 400 cover songs that I choose from. With about 1,800 shows under my belt so far in my career, I'm branching out in 2019 seeking more unique venues to perform original material that has been accumulated over the years, plus the cover songs of course. At a typical all original show, Bobby Rex will perform about 15 of his own tunes with a few crowd favorite cover songs at the end.

That being said, I can make myself available to join a project in motion if you have something worth while. I currently do not play in any other bands, but would consider playing guitar and singing for someone else's project where the band plays a bunch of covers. I'd join something where we can get crowds dancing and keep people on the dance floor.

At 7pm tonight Friday June 8th Bobby Rex will be in Lyons, IL at Buckledown Brewing performing in the tasting room. Kick back on a Friday after work at this craft brew pub featuring 10 homemade brews on tap and live music from Bobby Rex until 10:30pm. Last call is at 10:45pm and we close up shop at 11pm. Carry outs available.

Bobby Rex on acoustic guitar, vocals, and harmonicas will be at Buckledown Brewing in Lyons, IL at 7pm Friday, January 5th. No cover charge. Bobby Rex plays until 10:30pm which is when last call happens. This brew pub crafts about 10 or 12 beers in small batches right on the premises. Address is 8700 W. 47th Street, Lyons, IL. Walk right in.
