Years of gigging experience, solid chops and groove, versatile. Well-trained ear, good grasp of music theory, good sight reader - standard notation, charts, Nashville numbering. Learn recorded bass lines accurately or can improvise quality bass parts for covers or originals.
Play any mainstream genre, styles such as jazz-influenced pop/rock, classic pop/rock/Top 40, R&B, modern country.
Not gimmicky or overly busy, but can fill tastefully and creatively as appropriate. Focus on keeping great time and playing with good tone, touch and dynamics. Can provide some harmonies and backing vocals if needed.
Open to anything from festival gigs to freelancing, a recording project, or even finding other players looking to stretch their musical horizons.
