Influences

I started playing drums when i was 10, I got up on stage, picked up the sticks and taught myself the drum beat I heard that night at my dad's church where he made the music for the service. It was a badass church as far as churches go, and while I'm not religious, it was a hell of a lot of fun.

My guitar playing started with slipknot, and lamb of god(their older stuff). After that I moved to jimmy page's works. I developed a library of techniques I wanted to learn, and from there I pursued my own path down the rabbit hole of possibilities. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out myself, and my own sound, and what I could add to the musical world.

Now I am back to my roots. I want to make some heavy metal, and try to add to the community of listeners that emotion and energy I grew up loving, so that maybe I can one day influence another young mind to pursue the path of soul and passion.
