As soon as I could talk I was singing. I have been in several singing competitions, auditioned for Broadway in NY at age 12, and then for Sony Records at age 18. I sang in an auditioned college accapella group representing the US which traveled to Europe and finished my music degree with concentration in voice. From an early age I taught myself how to play the piano and have had some piano lessons in college. I most recently took up the guitar and have picked it up extremely fast, which I am excited about.
Music is my passion, and my solace. I offer a style of my own, covering (uniquely) a wide eclectic range of genres and I am looking for someone with that similar idea, TO PUT A PROJECT TOGETHER AS AN ACOUSTIC DUO/TRIO. I am also currently working on originals, and aside from being in great bands (past and present), Bonnie and the Bad Daddy's and LOQUE, and Generation Blues Band, I also solo out at open mic nights, improving my talents and working hard to be better than yesterday! I am always looking for new opportunities with new musicians.
Bandmix is a great platform to connect people with similar musical goals together. My goal through Bandmix is to find someone who is similar in musically thinking outside the box, can throw out 3 songs (maybe go back and forth on our ideas before rehearsal and try it both) prepped and ready to go and tweak it to our liking. We MUST be equals.
Usually everyone has a day job, I don't unfortunately. Fortunately(lol), that leaves so much room for getting gigs, social media marketing (not just FB) and build a website. This person(s) I hope to play with would be as serious as I am about building a diverse genre with our own twist, and is open-minded, easy going and having a couple laughs (plays a huge role in any band!). I hope somewhere in the Bandmix world there's an acoustic guitar player (possibly a bass player-stand up and electric) that can get by well enough singing harmonies and if confident enough split the lead in our sets, if we wanted. Music and Friendship, and hard work make for a killer vibe which permeates in the music.

"Guilty" Track number: 1 Year: 1973 Album: Taking My Time Genre: Blues
This a cover written by Randy Newman and performed by Bonnie Raitt from when she first started out. Its a great tune, and I decided to put my own flavor to it.
"WalkingBlues" Track number: 2 Year: 1930 Album: This wasnt released until Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton and Muddy Waters covered it. Genre: Blues
This was written and recorded by American Delta blues musician Son House in 1930. Although unissued at the time, it was part of House's repertoire and other musicians, including Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters adapted the song and recorded their own versions.
