I played a lot of gigs in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area in the late 80s. I got married and had a daughter and hung up the gear for awhile. I am getting the chops and calluses back and am ready for some fun jamming and playing some gigs again. I am very musical with an excellent ear, a capable instrumentalist but not a showman or virtuoso. I am not a frontman lead singer (like Jagger), yet I am comfortable singing lead or harmony vocals when the song requires (like the Beatles). I like melodic runs, inventive chords and tight harmonies. I prefer to have songs different from each other and dislike musical monotony across songs. I want to have fun and contribute to a group. A classic blues/rock/pop cover group with original material would suit me fine.
