SEEKINGVocalist, Vocalist - Tenor, Vocalist - Soprano, Other Percussion, Keyboard, Background Singer, Vocalist - Alto.
Ok...so here's the deal: We toured most of the country as an Acoustic/ Americana band. Then we lost our bass player (he decided to get a life and a girlfriend and he moved to Oregon). We are re-tooling the band...new sound, new name, new material, mostly original music. So we're looking for a singer.
The ideal band member would be: soprano, alto or tenor who is comfortable singing lead, as well as backup (mostly backup) and understands harmony. She (or he..or castrati..as long as you have the range) possibly plays another instrument (such as keyboards) but that part isn't as critical as needing a singer who has the ability to front the band. Our styles range from Root to Blues to Classic Rock and a little Worldbeat thrown in. Over 21 is best.
The singer we'd like to see is someone who can carry off the emotion for Blues and Classic Rock, and can sing lead OR backup. I'd like to see someone who's voice can go from sweet to sultry to so husky it could pull a dogsled. Think Pat Benatar or Stevie Nicks to Maria Muldaur to Signe Toly Anderson
We have equipment but you need your own transportation to and from rehearsals.
