Hello! I've been playing trumpet professionally since the age of 18.
I just turned 50 (albeit, a young 50!), recently moved just north of Atlanta, and I'm looking to start gigging!

I've played lead/solo on cruise ships, in salsa bands, funk, Top40...everything one normally does.

Played on tour with Bob Seger as the lead trumpet sub when he first took the Motor City Horns on the road with him.

I have a large amount of charts/arrangements, some stock, some original done by me in horn band, octet/nonet big band, salsa, and an original brass quintet arrangement.

I'm comfortable with playing most lead trumpet situations, except "Maynard" style stuff. Not my bag. Ellington, Basie..that stuff I can do well.

I'm very familiar with the standard horn/wedding/society band rep.
I can play most gigs without a book, though it's always helpful if there are discrepancies from the original tube.

I can play changes relatively well, though I prefer having a real book/, or if the changes are atypical.

Very prompt, professional, and able to dress for the occasion.

I do like alcohol on gigs, but just to stay relaxed.

No hard drugs, or other issues.

VERY energetic on stage when it's appropriate.

And I very much like to have fun on the gig!
