ABOUT

I am a solid jazz guitar player. I started out playing rock as did many of us guitar players, but my passion is jazz on a big archtop guitar. I'm also one of the rare guitarists that can play big band. As a jazz snob, I do have a guilty pleasure which is outlaw country, e.g., Hank Williams, Jr, Willie, Waylon, Charlie Daniels.... I have also always loved the Allman Bros.

I am a member of a jazz combo and a Dixieland band in our community here in Beaumont and we are looking forward to getting out to perform again when this virus is under control.

EQUIPMENT

I have too much crap (my wife's terminology) to list, but rest assured that I am well equipped to do a jazz or blues or rock gig. I use Henriksen and Quilter amps for jazz and a Fender and Marshall amp for anything else. I have a fairly comprehensive pedal board too.
