Uuuuummmm...I really, really, REALLY, really need some good players to play with a.s.a.p. Been doing it all on my lonesome far too long.
Anyway:
Well, I'm only alive because of music and the various arts. I have no classic training of any kind but have perfect pitch and an endless drive to push my music and other outlets to places new, valuable and exciting to even get to be a part of... to relish creating such wonderful, miraculous expressions of what is all too easy to forget is a wonderful, miraculous life. Don't use chemicals when writing like in the early years but don't judge folks for their preferences. Look, there's just nothing better than writing and producing music that wouldn't have other wise came to be if it weren't for collaborating with like minded players. I'm damned good at writing for several instruments but am soooo, soooo over doing it all myself. Please, you'll be glad we did this and put due energy into an active and vibrant band...2 or more that is. I'm not so much interested in the trappings of success other than getting to share great music with a greater scope of person. I'm 42 and used to be a f#cking maniac but managed to survive myself and calm down to this my present and pretty suave ass personage. That's it for now just call me if you're really good at what you do, K? Awesome. Titties! Capitol.

EQUIPMENT
Very sparce presently;
Amazing new/used Alvaraz acoustic, yamaha broadbass 5 string bass, ibanez artcore semi hallow body and a ...well, a yamaha acoustic that I only keep 3 strings on for songwriting cuz' it helps get to the marrow of what your trying to say...and it looks like I coated it in glue and threw it in a mound of recycling trash cuz I've decorated it pretty insanely with random sh#t...
A large bass amp (crate), Rheem vintage 1970 reverb guitar amp, Yamaha electric piano, and an Acer laptop and Dell desktop computer that I've spent this last year crash coursing myself in the ways of digital recording (Mixcraft 8 Pro, Audacity) and I've caught up pretty commendably given this is the first laptop etc I've ever owned and I've never even had a TV or bank accout till this year...literally! Oh, and I have a Rode NT-UZB condensor mic, AKG c-14 condenzor n a couple mic stands (and a didjerydoo!!!)

Suicide Is For Lovers
Suicide Is For Lovers Year: 2014 Album: none specific Genre: Alternative
As much as I hate to drag you, my dear listeners, into the hopeless, lightless, doubt-riddled-as-never-before life of J. Grady, with all its desperation-fueled drug consumption only acutely exacerbating such a low as I've not then nor since had anything comparable to hold it up against thus allowing me to even have hope of measuring the damage...some day. Not a thing is out of place in this dirge. Not often in life have I somehow managed to get out EXACTLY what I needed to express, no more , no less. You can't INTEND that into reality. It just happens once in a great while. I was particularly grateful this time on account of the iceberg that I was losing my entire heart to kept me most days from feeling anything at all....short of doubt. A perverse, ubiquitous doubt that rendered everything I loved about myself petty and useless at best. Yeah, sooooo....fuck. There it is.

Just This Night
Just This Night Year: 2017 Album: Not specific Genre: Alternative
Poignant. This one nails me in the sternum with it's humility and gentle handling of what, for me, have been ongoing sources of trouble my whole life. God , I love a good depressing song though.

Sound Helix IIV
Sound Helix IIV Year: 2016 Album: not specific Genre: Alternative
Here I came of age in so much that, while for the previous 40 odd years as a musician on this planet, I commenced as ignorantly as is humanly possible when it came to having anything like a clue about how truly difficult it is to produce electronic music of any note and interest. I have never put so many hours into a single track, a single novel attempt at dipping my toe into such a staggeringly exotic and diverse area of the musical world. Any case, here we have the first of results of my unguided and maiden sojourn into the ENTIRELY unknown. I was so proud to show (finally!!!) the results to a few friends and family fully expecting their collapse in to teary praise and getting to this day absolutely no visceral response of any kind that I can glean from anyone....no one! Whatever. I love it I built EVERY ASPECT OF THIS THING!!! And all the pieces fit and the sheer drama of its overture....and...oh, well. See what you think. I love it but I am hopelessly biased.

That's Not Why I'm Laughing Year: 2016 Album: Not specific Genre: Alternative
Here you have a fine example of the vibe of song I tend to write though when influenced by/with others anythings possible. I feel like this song feels more than I'd like. Melancholia can be intoxicating though...

Highwater
Highwater Year: 2018 Genre: World
Here is a poem I wrote when I was 34 going through an intense period of disillusionment regarding my country, my home. Any impressions or criticisms are welcomed. Instrumental music composition is probably 56$ of what keeps me at it musically so I'd love to know what ya'll think...if you even listen to the whole thing I'll be happy. Songs over 5 minutes tend not to keep peoples attention, yeah, enjoy!

The Shadows Men
The Shadows Men Year: 2016 Album: not specific Genre: Folk
So.... Ok, so this one resembles very much the subject it's addressing it's disturbed, very potentially unhinged sort of a way. Paranoia. The brand that methamphetamine delivers on occasion. That's The Shadows Men. I deliberately tuned the 2nd, lead acoustic so that it's out of tune with almost everything but only just. The result leaves the song feeling vexed, strenuous and needful of comforting. I wasn't using the drug at the time only tapping memories and incidents that will likely always make my skin crawl.
