Uuuuummmm...I really, really, REALLY, really need some good players to play with a.s.a.p. Been doing it all on my lonesome far too long.
Well, I'm only alive because of music and the various arts. I have no classic training of any kind but have perfect pitch and an endless drive to push my music and other outlets to places new, valuable and exciting to even get to be a part of creating such wonderful, miraculous expressions of what is all too easy to forget is a wonderful, miraculous life. Don't use chemicals when writing like in the early years but don't judge folks for their preferences. Look, there's just nothing better than writing and producing music that wouldn't have other wise came to be if it weren't for collaborating with like minded players. I'm damned good at writing for several instruments but am soooo, soooo over doing it all myself. Please, you'll be glad we did this and put due energy into an active and vibrant band. I'm not so much interested in the trappings of success other than getting to share great music with a greater scope of person. I'm 42 and used to be a f#cking maniac but managed to survive myself and calm down to this my present and pretty suave ass personage. That's it for now just call me if you're really good at what you do, K? Awesome.

Very sparce presently;
Amazing new/used Alvaraz acoustic and a ...well, a yamaha acoustic that I only keep 3 strings for songwriting cuz' it helps get to the marrow of what your trying to say...and it looks like I coated it in glue and threw it in a mound of recycling trash cuz I've decorated it pretty insanely with random sh#t...
A bass amp (fender), Yamaha electric piano, and an Acer computer that I've spent this last year crash coursing myself in the ways of digital recording and I've caught up pretty commendably given this is the first laptop I've ever owned and I've never had a TV or bank accout...literally! Oh, and I have a Rode condensor mic n a couple mic stands.
The Self Soothing IIV

I'm hoping to woo someone into singing for this somg so this version w my perpetually adolescent voice limitations will stand here temp. as the gist of it....
The Shadows Men
The Shadows Men Year: 2016 Album: not specific Genre: Alternative
So.... Ok, so this one resembles very much the subject it's addressing it's disturbed, very potentially unhinged sort of a way. Paranoia. The brand that methamphetamine delivers on occasion. That's The Shadows Men. I deliberately tuned the 2nd, lead acoustic so that it's out of tune with almost everything but only just. The result leaves the song feeling vexed, strenuous and needful of comforting. I wasn't using the drug at the time only tapping memories and incidents that will likely always make my skin crawl.
Lux Lane Year: 2018 Genre: Alternative
A hybrid from multiple sources and a treat of atmospheric delicacies for those ravenous for character in song like I am.
Suicide Is For Lovers
Suicide Is For Lovers Year: 2014 Album: none specific Genre: Alternative
As much as I hate to drag you, my dear listeners, into the hopeless, lightless, doubt-riddled-as-never-before life of J. Grady, with all its desperation-fueled drug consumption only acutely exacerbating such a low as I've not then nor since had anything comparable to hold it up against thus allowing me to even have hope of measuring the damage...some day. Not a thing is out of place in this dirge. Not often in life have I somehow managed to get out EXACTLY what I needed to express, no more , no less. You can't INTEND that into reality. It just happens once in a great while. I was particularly grateful this time on account of the iceberg that I was losing my entire heart to kept me most days from feeling anything at all....short of doubt. A perverse, ubiquitous doubt that rendered everything I loved about myself petty and useless at best. Yeah, sooooo....fuck. There it is.

Just This Night
Just This Night Year: 2017 Album: Not specific Genre: Alternative
Poignant. This one nails me in the sternum with it's humility and gentle handling of what, for me, have been ongoing sources of trouble my whole life. God , I love a good depressing song though.

Sound Helix IIV Year: 2016 Album: not specific Genre: Alternative
Here I came of age in so much that, while for the previous 40 odd years as a musician on this planet, I commenced as ignorantly as is humanly possible when it came to having anything like a clue about how truly difficult it is to produce electronic music of any note and interest. I have never put so many hours into a single track, a single novel attempt at dipping my toe into such a staggeringly exotic and diverse area of the musical world. Any case, here we have the first of results of my unguided and maiden sojourn into the ENTIRELY unknown. I was so proud to show (finally!!!) the results to a few friends and family fully expecting their collapse in to teary praise and getting to this day absolutely no visceral response of any kind that I can glean from anyone....no one! Whatever. I love it I built EVERY ASPECT OF THIS THING!!! And all the pieces fit and the sheer drama of its overture....and...oh, well. See what you think. I love it but I am hopelessly biased.

That's Not Why I'm Laughing Year: 2016 Album: Not specific Genre: Alternative
Here you have a fine example of the vibe of song I tend to write though when influenced by/with others anythings possible. I feel like this song feels more than I'd like. Melancholia can be intoxicating though...
Highwater Year: 2018 Genre: World
Here is a poem I wrote when I was 34 going through an intense period of disillusionment regarding my country, my home. Any impressions or criticisms are welcomed. Instrumental music composition is probably 56$ of what keeps me at it musically so I'd love to know what ya'll think...if you even listen to the whole thing I'll be happy. Songs over 5 minutes tend not to keep peoples attention, yeah, enjoy!

Sound Helix Xii
Sound Helix XiiThe first passable song-thing to come from my 1st year of playing EDM catchup via all these endless software and their potentials, jargons, system crashes and mostly trial and erroring on my part (thank you sweet, sweet insomnia). So, what you hear here....required much labor. The Joy Division sample alone required several evenings to get right. It's also like opening a heavenly gift wrapped in orgasmic possibility. Thank you Mr. Touring.
Just This Night
Just This NightUpon arrival in Utah this song came S.A.S.E.'d to me personally from me personally from some future vantage point of knowing. It's a lonely, all alone wilderness up here. I'll take it gently of an evening and listen for coo-coo clock to sing.
Lord GeorgeGeorge. A rough, rough draft. You can't remember but you would have been dead that night and at my feet. A complete collapse. I watched you thru the night, occasionally beating you and rubbing my knuckles acrossed you sternum. Where'd you go then? You've left and gone away despite living through. It's important that you exist, youngster. Whether or not of me.
Silver AngelAngela, you're more to you than you ever did seem. Until now.
Our WaveCarl does Grady, at long last. Hints of future neatness.
Lux LaneLux, lux, lux. It's for the drunk in ya, idiot!
You're You To Me
You're You To MeOff the ol' chip on my shoulder...
Tommy C.The background birds and slowly accelerating steam engine came from a cassette I found in the parking lot of a Columbus, Ohio fast food joint of the corner of 2nd ave. and High St. I held onto that tape (labeled "Trains From The Holler) for at least 5 years, not having any idea what I would ever do with it. A fine man and good friend, Tommy C., hung himself from the sycamore behind his pitched roof cabin in one of the Hollers just outside Chillicothe City Limits, Ohio. So, that's how and why.
Snow Is A Warning
Snow Is A WarningOne of my recent GOAT songs. It is, of course, the job of the lyrics to tug this one along through the heavy zebra grass and red dirt mud. I don't weary of this one somehow despite it's almost painfully lo-fi, cell phone recording and drumbeat off an app using several phones simultaneously. An unconscious tip of the hat to Guided By Voices perhaps.
The Shadows Men
The Shadows MenWith the law encroaching into my anti meridian hallucinations I felt how this tune feels. Imagine pine cone walkie-talkies and silver suited mexican gunsman inching closer to your barricaded bedroom door as the thick wet rope of your spine pops and pulls in twists after twist...and the second hand ticks your heart beat into unsteady, detuned thuds from inside your chest.

That's Not Why I Am Laughing
That's Not Why I Am LaughingIt was dead in the center of the heat of high summer desert and the cool of a breezy melancholia that I attempted to part this together out of mid-day, cold showers sung lowly and tatters of upended lucidity. The rift of I and All Others could not have gone any longer unanswered.
