ABOUT
I've been playing drums for over 16 years. Played in orchestra through middle high school, then taught myself how to play a kit in college. I can play a variety of styles and I like to think I'm pretty good.
Honestly, I have a full time (unrelated to music) job and just want to do this for fun on the side (a band to jam with and maybe play gigs, but I can't commit a ton of time). I play by myself plenty, but...since I play drums, it's not very rewarding alone.
I guess what I'm looking for is a chill group of people that are sick of playing music by themselves, like me, but aren't trying to make a career out of it either.

Influences
Oh god, I don't know; lots of things. Rush, M83, Silversun Pickups, RHCP, The Chain Gang of 1974, The Holidays, Spirit Spine, The Boggs, and a bunch more.
EQUIPMENT
Electric and acoustic drum kit.
I live in Midtown Atlanta though, so if I need to drive 150 miles to get my acoustic set out of storage, there needs to be a place to keep it. I bought (a very good) electronic set because I needed something quieter for practice.
