ABOUT

i've written hundreds of songs, ranging from loud to soft, silly to "serious" [and i don't think the 2 are mutually exclusive. life is complex. let it breathe. do what comes naturally. for me that means all emotions/attitudes are valid, and the more you express, the more interesting it is]. i'm drug-free and i'm easy to work with. aside from talent, patience is the main prerequisite. everyone comes from a different place. i want to form positive working relationships and it should be fun, joyous. life is too short to fight over dumb stuff or force yourself to work with people you can't stand. i'm looking for unique talented fun ppl to get a band together. i've self-produced 30 original albums and 3 albums of covers. some of those songs are good. some aren't. opinions differ. i've had ppl praise songs i did that to me were nothing special and ignore songs i worked hard on and thought highly of. this is why my albums generally have most everything i came up with during a specific period w/ few omissions. you may find the skip button useful.

EQUIPMENT

a few cheap guitars, a few pedals, a roland practice amp. it's pretty dire at the moment. i do have an old peavey XRD-680 mixer-amp that powers 2 15" Fender 112-ELC PA speakers, decent to practice w/ vocals or line-in acoustic or bass or keyboards. wouldn't really trust it for gigs but it could be brought as a backup just in case. also have another power amp but no speakers or mixer for it.
