Hey! I'm Brandt Weed, I have been around music my entire life, and started off with the tuba when I was 11 years old. I stopped playing tuba 3 years ago because I fell in love with the guitar. I've been playing guitar for around 3 years now and I'm a college kid who needs money and now would love to be in a bar band. I am by no means perfect but I can hold my end up well as long as I have some time to get familiar with the setlist. I have a knack for picking up new techniques and songs quickly because I have a good sense of rhythm and a good ear. I am working on re-learning reading music and am self taught for the most part. My biggest issue is I go to college in Pennsylvania, so I will only be around in the summer and during breaks. I have a little bit of live music experience with a few of my friends playing at parties and I may be a bit nervous playing with new people at first. Once I get confortable with the band that will be no issue. I love adapting new styles into my guitar playing and I love to improvise guitar solos.

I'm a HUGE Stevie Ray Vaughan fan, I get most of my blues influence from him and have become pretty affluent in playing in his style of music. I also try and find inspiration with plenty of other guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Nuno Bettencourt, Eddie Van Halen, Angus Young, Zakk Wylde and Marty Friedman to name a few.
I love pretty much all music that features the guitar. Everything from Megadeth, to Jimi, to BB King, and everything in between

My main couple of guitars are my Gibson SG and my SRV signature Strat but I have a 1983 Washburn G-4 with a Floyd rose and another Strat. My main amp is my early 70's 50 Watt Marshall 5210. I have a pedalboard with a wah, a few overdrive pedals, delay and chorus (although I mainly prefer mixing the distortion from my Marshall with a bit more overdrive from my BOSS Super Overdrive). As many other guitarists can also admit, that arsenal is ever-expanding (and my wallet is ever-depleting).
