ABOUT

I’m a skilled writer with creative words and melodies. I fronted Left Light Out until it’s end. I was no where close to as talented as I am now, but still as dedicated. Music is everything to me. Every day I practice for hours, and spend time writing. I’m looking for a serious group of people to write some new age rock/metal, OR/AND an acoustic project. Not mathematical-pentatonic metal with no emotion or drive, but the kind that can lift you up and break you. The songs that mean the most to me are always emotionally raw under a clean, mysterious kind of poetry. Songs that are simple, like beartooth’s “disease”, also lay within my interests. These songs, however, are not what I’m trying to write a whole album of. Complicated or simple, as long as a good story or message is shared, I’m on board. I’ve experienced huge venues and tiny ones and rocked them all as if the whole world stood fixed upon our moment. When my band broke up I moved to Arizona to find a new one. Before beginning my search I took a look at myself, and have spent the last five years polishing my skills and sharpening my teeth. I’m more than ready, good looking, and in shape. I’m going to make history. Are you?

Influences

Incubus, underoath, Norma Jean, the used, tool, bring me the horizon, Alice In Chains, Thursday, taking back Sunday, trivium, billy talent, and so very many more. Some of these bands I am influenced by the writing, the structure, key changes or the atmosphere the music creates. I like to think that I take these unique elements out and construct them into something new.

EQUIPMENT

I sold everything when my band broke up and put it into savings for the next band. I currently keep two acoustic guitars a DAW, and microphone. I could buy anything I wanted today and as a learned musician I know my equipment and only by good gear. Good gear is more often than not what can make or break a band’s sound. I knew this 10 years ago and actually purchased my bass player’s amp for him. He was not dedicated enough and I was sick of our band sounding like crap because of his muddy bass. That’s my level of dedication still.
