40 year old drummer located in Saline MI. Been playing for 25+ years mostly for church/worship teams but looking to do a little more. Interested in jamming with some folks or possibly doing some side gigs. Lots of experience playing with other musicians on stage and with click tracks. Solid proficiency with a few tricks up my sleeve. Mostly a very tasteful, spirited drummer who knows how to compliment the music and other musicians. Very easy going and looking to meet some other local, like-minded musicians.

Influences
Mainly Rock, Christian, Alternative, but willing to branch out into blues, jazz, classic rock, country, etc. I grew up on 80’s and 90’s music and love bands such as Talking Heads, The Police, Peter Gabriel, R.E.M., U2, Sting, Tears for Fears, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Tool, The Tragically Hip, Janes Addiction, 311, Awolnation, just to name a few.

EQUIPMENT
I have a vintage 1970 4-piece Ludwig kit currently with Meinl Byzance cymbals. Considering switching to a set of Zildjians to better compliment the kit. Willing to purchase a more modern kit if necessary, but the Ludwig is a pretty good staple go-to kit that gets the job done and is easy to transport. I would consider buying a newer Gretsch kit — I’ve owned several in the past. Would also love a DW or I have also played Yamaha kits in the past
