I have been a professional musician since 1989 and take playing VERY seriously with over 5,000 gigs played and would love to form or join a band with only professional players. I have been lucky enough to have been in 2 extremely popular bands, Rockbox and Trick Bag from New Orleans (Bourbon Street).
I own my own business so traveling is no issue.
My specialty is playing songs nearly note for note and I write presets to match the tone of each song.
The tribute band thing is hot right now so maybe a Def Leppard, Night Ranger, Van Halen, Pink Floyd etc, or even an 80s retro tribute.... Duran Duran type of thing. Also wouldnt mind just a cover band of classic 79s or 80s rock. If you want a guitarist that will sound and play like Jimmy Page or Eddie Van Halen Im youre guy.
