ABOUT

Hello, my name is Brian and I am a vocalist interested in auditioning for or forming a classic rock/rock/tribute/pop music cover band in the Miami area. My influences are everything from 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, to the present. However, I am always willing to try other styles/genres and originals.

I was the lead singer in a professional classic rock cover band while I lived in NYC in the late 1990’s through the early 2000’s and I have a good amount of experience playing live gigs with a band. In the past I have also written original songs which I sang, performed, and recorded demo albums with other musicians and performers as well. I have a wide range of genres & styles that I can sing and I’ve been told I also have good stage presence as well. I am a performer at heart and that helps too!

I don’t consider myself a professional musician however, I like playing music and can do it well. I relocated to South Florida a few years ago and in my “day job” I am a college professor teaching film history, communications studies, and popular music history for a local university in Miami. When COVID hit the world, band auditions, gigs, and practices came to a sudden halt for about 3 years! But now I am once again looking to join a band and do the hobby I love the most which is playing and performing music with other musicians! I am influenced by many different styles of music and enjoy listening to almost anything. I play some acoustic guitar, but I consider myself a vocalist first and foremost.

I am seeking bandmates with personality, creative ambition, talent, motivation, and eclectic musical interests. Having some backup vocal abilities is a plus! My immediate goal is to play music for fun and see where that leads and hopefully to many paying gigs! I am also seeking musicians who understand and realize people make up a group and are as important as the music itself. If you're interested, please contact me.
