ABOUT

I've been playing guitar for 20 years or so and am looking to join with bandmates in an attempt to resurrect my need to play for someone other than my cat. I've played in bands back in High School and just afterwards but gave that up to "be a grownup". Now I'm ready to join with other adults and have some fun and make some money.. Hopefully. Guitarists are a dime a dozen and I fit that mold in a technical sense I guess.. But I bring a little different style and sound to the same old same old. I like to play songs the way I think they should be.. not always the way they were written.. Kinda taking what is there and making it "better" or "mine". I'm certain there are better guitar players than me.. if you stop learning you should stop playing.. but I've always brought a unique twist to the party.

Influences

I listen to a ton of different music in an attempt to incorporate everything i can into my "sound". Jazz, Rock, Country... Classical... I started playing because of VH.. and who didnt.. Satriani, SRV, Clapton, Gilmore... Ive been putting guitar tracks on my buddies Hip Hop tracks lately... Everything from Punk to Ska to The kid bands that are out there now.
