Are you tired of hearing cover bands play generic 70's, 80's and 90's covers (Bon Jovi, Smash Mouth, Rick Springfield, etc)? Do you want to play cover music that is relevant? . . .cover music that is current? . . .cover music that will make all ages get up and dance? I'm looking for a few talented musicians to take over the Southeastern Milwaukee Cover Scene. Of course we'll play a 'couple' of the crowd favorites, but would like to stick mostly to 2010 to current music.
Here is what I'm looking for:
- Singer (Male or Female, or both) -- guitar playing a plus, but not necessary
- Guitar -- background singing a plus
- Bass -- background singing a plus
- Keyboards -- background singing a plus
- Age range from 21 to late 30's
- Able to practice once a week, play out at least 2-3 times a month
- Have a pretty flexible schedule (not expecting anyone to quit their job, but open to all shows if we book it in advance)
- Reliable
- Great personality with an 'easy to get along with' attitude
- Must have professional or semi-professional gear
- Able to play 3 to 4 hour sets
Here is not what I'm looking for:
- Drunks or Druggies
- Someone with too many commitments
- Unreliable
- Drummer (as I will be assuming that responsibility)
- Someone that is in many other bands
- Someone that wants to mix in their original music (sorry, only covers)
