ABOUT

Brian Louderback's songs use story and metaphor to express otherwise elusive emotions. Laced with dark humor and introspection, and layered with meaning. Ranging in sound from creepy-folk to indie/alternative and at times down-right gritty, Brian has been described as Donovan, Lennon and Dylan all at once. Smart, insightful, yet self-depricating and dry, this music comes to you from Sacramento, Ca. A town born of the gold rush and surrounded by vacant Victorian era homes that haven't sold for years due to well documented hauntings. A town built on top of another town that still has a network of underground tunnels that were for many years used as opium dens and hideaways for convicts.
Currently releasing his first EP Brian Louderback Music which soon will be found on I tunes, Amazon, CD Baby or bought directly from the artist. Brian is honing his skills on the open mic circuit and local shows with other artists he looks up to and respects.
Louderback is in his first year as a solo artist after sex years with punk/alt group Sex Tape Scandal who released two albums, a handful of EP's and four Pacific Northwestern tours. Voted one of the top 5 live bands in the summer of 2006 and played on local radio stations with their single Accident Detective (written by Brian). Brian also completed an EP and a music video under a group named The Babs Johnson Gang. Brian has been playing his own original works live for just under a decade.
Brian Louderback Music contains three original tracks, two studio produced, one live, as well as a live version of Sea of Love by Phil Phillips. Stay tuned for new information on Brian Louderback's music at brianlouderback.wordpress
