ABOUT

Howdy! I’m Brian, I’ve been playing guitar for my entire life. I’ve played and gigged in several bands in Oakland/San Francisco, Spent many years building and repairing guitars for a living in the Bay Area and Phoenix and I have a degree In Audio Engineering. Music is really important to me and I have been writing and playing for over 25 years. I am currently working in the Tech Industry and living in Tainan City, Taiwan. However, I am moving back to Phoenix at the end of May 2023 and am looking to meet some fellow musicians to write and gig with. The tech industry is just my day job. Music is and always will be my priority. I’m not looking for the most “technically skilled” musicians. Even if you aren’t an expert musician, My passion is writing and trying to create something new and meaningful. Not being the fastest shredder in town. While I won’t be back in Phoenix for another three months, I’d love to write and share some music with anyone who is interested in creating something unique enough to gig around Phoenix. If you are interested I’d be happy to send you some demos of the music I write. I played with several bands in the Bay Area during my eighty eight years there. I’ll happily send my music over to ya.

EQUIPMENT

You can just see the photos as I have a lot of equipment so I won’t name it all here. I generally just use a Fender Esquire and a couple of pedals through a Princeton reverb when live or with a band. That being said, I’ve got more pedals and amps than I can count as you can see in the photos. Generally I like my Colorsound Fuzz box or my wren & Cuff Caprid and a Chase Tone secret preamp (Echoplex EP3 Preamp) and thats about it. I keep it relatively simple for my live setup, but I’m pretty good at getting a good range of sounds with one pickup and two knobs. All the pedals are more for writing with home or at practice. My main acoustic is a Guild USA D-40 Traditional
