My name is Brian Vasilou. I'm 25 years old, I work full time as an engineer in the automotive industry, and I have been playing guitar since I was about 10 years old. I'm looking for a band that could use a lead guitar player!
My musical background includes 5 years playing the flugelhorn in The Ohio State University Marching Band (2015-2019), jazz band in high school, (I played guitar in the All State Jazz Band in 2015). It's been a while since I've been in an organized jazz ensemble, but I could always dust it off.
I would say I specialize in lead playing and improvising. I can comfortably solo in every key, in most modes, and in most styles. Unfortunately, I cannot read music on guitar.
I play Eb Tenor Horn, Trumpet/Flugelhorn, Guitar, and Mandolin.
