ABOUT

I am the bass guitarist/synthesist for the Prog/Hard Rock act Ominsen! Lead Vocalist/lyricist now sought with a "clean" voice tone with exceptional melody and range!

We are not seeking screamers or growlers! Someone in the styles of Michael Akelfeldt-Opeth, Ville Vallo-HIM, Ian Gillan of Deep Purple or Ronnie James Dio, Jonas Renkse-Katatonia

Keyboardist sought with versatile skill. Must provide the "crunch" of a distorted Hammond ala Jon Lord of Deep Purple while adding the textures and ambience like Joakim Svalberg from Opeth! Should be a "supportive" player to create atmosphere and "compliment" a strong guitar sound!

Use of vintage analog synths like the Oberheim OBX, Prophet V, Memory Moog or Jupiter 8 is ideal but not required.

My background encompasses a cross genre of influences, ranging from traditional artists to that of the neo-prog, alternative, retro- swing/ jump blues, industrial and gothic music styles. As a drummer, I was highly active during the swing revival of the middle 90's to early 2000's

I am a multi-instrumentalist with extenhsive recording and performance experience, top rate gear and a diverse songwriter with excellent composition and arrangement skills.

The video seen here is from a previous band. The song will be re-arranged to fit the style and sound of my new venture being on the heavier side of progressive rock-melodic metal!

For further information, you can visit the "Ominsen" page by clicking the photo image under the "music list" tab. Some teaser "rehearsal" tracks are referenced below!

Ominsen is established with management in place and a likely independent record deal with worldwide distribution along with high profile performance shows!
