Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar.

"There’s something about two drummers…it gets tribal”- Derek Trucks on playing with two drummers.

---The Brock Brothers Band is not your typical L.A. story. Sure, brothers Jon and Daniel grew up in West Los Angeles shaped by bad traffic and perfect weather. Both picked up sticks in their early teens, and no coincidence the brothers were drawn to the Dead and the Allmans, elevating bands fueled by double drummer rhythm sections. It’s a perilous feat, even when armed with sibling intuition and phrasing that moves as one. More than a few years back, the boys took their act to Europe before life, mortgages and kids interceded. But playing together never left them and last year, the brothers brought their kits back to the clubs covering deeper tracks of music that expanded their heads and souls, and still does.---

This is a spirited double drummer unit with jammy sensibilities and a collaborative group dynamic seeking an additional guitar for weekly rehearsals and monthly gigs. While the band plays deeper covers, we have an eye on making new music and we own every tune, however familiar or not. We're looking for players intrigued by two drummers at their backs and not shy about elevation. Fearless and concise exploration encouraged. Weekly Tuesday night rehearsals in WLA.
