I started out playing Jazz and Classical, moved on to Metal, then to Punk Rock and now have my own style. It’s been several years, off’n’on and I haven’t been to a show in five years let alone played one. I’ve only played a few shows anyhow; mostly block parties. I’ve had stage experience, never was never able to make it as a paid musician though.
My style tends to lean towards thirds for one reason or another I love the sound, it’s moody, slow when it needs to be and fast as the feel requires. I’m a little rusty, and my hands aren’t quite as fast as my heart is. Still I can play over a thousand notes in a minute or as little as one. If you can’t understand the value each, you may as well move on. I love dynamics, the pulse moving up and down, the chanting, the silence when you’ve nailed it, a crying baby one minute and a joyous nut the next.
