Band to Join, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar.

I am looking to join a band or find a lead, bass player and key board player. My style can be described as a “solid groove drummer”. I prefer to play blues. Iam very easy to get along with and flexible, but have no vocal talents. In addition to my large Gretsch kit, I have a “cocktail kit” for smaller venues or stages. I am not a fan of rote or verbatim covers. Most of the studio recordings were done by studio musicans that did take after take after take. Generally when the song is played live it has a totally different personality or feel to it. I am looking to play with folks that can play off of each other and improvise. I am looking to have fun and make some money on the side. I do not mind traveling to practice or gig. It is not an issue.

Just about anything from the 50's through the mid-late 70's . But very much into early blues. Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Little Walter.Old country will work also. I am very adaptive. No interest in hip hop or heavy metal. John Bonham or Keith Moon, I am not.
Dino Danelli, drummer for the Rascals was my main influence, followed up by Buddy Rich and Krupa. Now some southern rock, Motown/Soul redux and classic C&W and real R&B.
Bonnie Rait, Van Morrison. Steve Winwood. In general, there is so much great music to be played.

Instrument experience:

Gretch 22,12,16, 7x14. Pork Pie bubinga snare as well as a 5x14 Ludwig Supraphonic. All 50's through late 60's Zildgian cymbals(7), all tour grade hardware. Yamaha cocktail kit. Shure drum mics with overhead condensers. Boom stands. 8 channel mixer with phantom power.
