ABOUT

Professional bassist (both electric and upright) looking to start or join a new original band. My playing style kind of trends towards Flea I suppose ( but without the slap/pop). I can absolutely just lay down a simple grove, but will get creative (you have been warned lol). Best quality is that I listen and focus on what will make the band sound the best, not satisfy my ego.

Would love to do something equal parts folk, rock, electronic, with a dash funk. Over the moon if this includes multiple vocalist (2 - 4 part harmonies) and a keyboard player (super pumped to have a fender Rhodes).

In terms of style kind of a mix of the following...

Radiohead - (compositional creativity, genre ambiguity but still approachable, subtle electronic touches)

Civil Wars - (m/f vocal harmonies, (dual leads, and storytelling)

Medeski, Martin, and Wood - (use of Rhodes/Wurlitzer and upright bass, improvisation, occasional funk/head nodding vibe)

Anything Jack White - (touch of dirt and edge)
