I am a recreational musician. I Have played with bands since I was a teenager (20 years ago) and stopped playing when I moved to Houston. I simple love music and I want to get back. With that been said, I am a fat dad (36yo) now with 2 kids. So I am looking for a band that is willing to play ''good music'' but also for fun. (Nor to become a pro) I would be available to go for a studio like once a week and would love to do shows as well. I am rusty right now but practicing again. I am willing to play in power trios (Bass, 1 guitar and Drums). I can do the guitars and lead vocal but my preference is to just play guitar (I can do both lead and base guitar).
About my ''guitar'' style:
I am very picky with guitar tones and I am inspired by ''Slash'' kind of tones. If you like that ''classic'' hard rock guitar sound you may like my tones. I can play solos from songs like Stairway to Heaven, Sweet child o mine, etc...
About my vocals:
Never studied it, but I was the lead singer for most bands I was part of. I can sing normal songs like Smoke on the water, Born to be wild, etc... Some with a bit of high notes such as ''Man in the box'' and with some training I can do some ''decent'' head voices and sing things like ''Highway to Hell''...
