French Accident

Trumpet, Saxophone, Background Singer.

The French Accident was formed purely by accident. At an event for a hundred people in Baron's back yard, Baron and Wash were performing for the party. The Heart Man was in the crowd and enjoyed the music. At the intermission, the Heart Man told Baron that he has played drums all his life, but had been on hiatus for the past 10 years. Lacking percussion, the duo invited him up on stage to perform with the only instrument available, a tambourine. Within a month the trio was in the studio recording. Still lacking a bass player, Heart Man invited a life long friend and consummate musician, Russian Willet to come play bass at a jam session. Russian Willet and Heart Man had collaborated and played together for 25 years in their own band.

After playing together for 6 Months, Russian Willet, a guitar player at heart, jumped on lead guitar for a song. The dimension he brought to the song through playing lead was nothing short of incredible. His talent was being under utilized on bass. During the session the band performed a 9-minute ecclesiastical version of "Raptuous Lemonade" with Wash on bass and Russian Willet on lead. The current structure of the band was born.
