ABOUT

Trained in Percussion since age 7. Began playing drum kit at age 9. Played throughout 5A High School in Concert, Symphonic, Jazz and Lab Band. Drum Corps snare line all 4 years in HS. Captain senior year. First chair throughout prep school. Participated in all UIL competition. Solo & Ensemble, State Drum Corps and Concert/Jazz/Symphonic, always placing 1st division.
Went to college at SMU Dallas. Mustang Marching Band - Snare Line all 4 years. Again, 11 o'clock Jazz Band fish and soph years, 1 o'clock jazz band then on. Fort Worth Jr. Symphony Tympani at the age of 22. Auditioned and made snare line for DCI Spirit of Atlanta for 2 years. Began pro career soon after college with Bob Hope Comedy Tour pit orchestra drum set. First pro rock band with Abyss then solo artist Jack Russell of Great White. After college with degree in Mechanical Engineering played as hobby and taught private lessons to 8 through 12 graders. Played with groups such as Cobra, Abyss (again), and a 5 week fill in with Peter Frampton. After gaining stability in Engineering career and owning my own company since 05, I am currently playing with Revolver, a classic rewind cover band. We have 66+ songs down and new work always on the board.

EQUIPMENT

We have a 21 acre ranch just west of Ft. Worth in Weatherford. Studio "Rehearsal" is loaded, stating with a 1500 sq. ft. of stage. Audio - JBL PA w/ 1600w powersub. Euroboard 24 mixer with EQ's and special effects racked. Tons of electronics! Percussion eq: TAMA Sparton Warlord (chrome) limited edition #3 of 50, 9 piece with 10 Zildjian Cymbals + Latin Instruments, Roto Toms and a bell sell for RUSH tunes. Integraded Electronics: Roland V Session TDK 120 with monitors (325 different percussion instruments all in one mixer). KORG Composser 900 with monitors.
Studio is nicely AC'ed in summer and heated in winter, a Mac composition work area with KORG equipment and computer workstation.
