Hi! My name is Noelle, and I'm a 25 year old bassist living in Los Angeles, California.

Influences
I have the most experience with grunge + 90s alt rock (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, etc.), but currently I find myself excited by math and post rock, and enjoy following Japanese alternative music/shoegaze. My 3 favorite bands at the moment are Zutomayo, Tricot, and Elephant Gym. However, I try to make an active effort to be familiar with a wide variety of genres, from acid jazz to prog metal. I am also working towards learning music composition, primarily in jazz and game soundtrack styles.
As far as playing goes, I'm open to pretty much anything. I have a reasonably extensive theory base to draw from, so adapting to genres that I have comparatively less experience with is not an issue.
