ABOUT

Born and raised in New Orleans...have performed in many bands until relocating to Austin in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina...In Austin, I have performed with numerous bands/artist until I decided to go back to NOLA and record and released my self title album Byrdawg-Raining on the Sunshine, produced and performed by Neville Brothers guitarist, Brian Stoltz...featuring George Porter Jr.-bass( the Meters) Nick Daniels III-bass(Etta James/Dumptsaphunk) Jimmy Messa-bass(the Subdudes) and Harold "Boomer" Bosarge-drums( Delbert McClintonin) in 2010...with juggling a crazy busy schedule, I took time off from performing to focus on family and career...in 2020, I co-produced and performed on Joe Tullos' Vessels posthumous album in New Orleans...to date , my wife and I are empty nester and I'm ready to get back in the groove...b.d
