SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Other.ABOUT
I'd like to form an indie, post-rock and/or shoegaze band to play music that is melancholic, dynamic, anthemic and dance-able. I play electric guitar (standard/baritone) and bass.
I'm looking for:
1) A singer who can also play guitar or bass - I will shift my role depending on which instrument you play. Many of my influences have female lead vocals.... while I do have a soft spot for that, I am not opposed to male vocals.
2) A drummer that can play with power and finesse. Someone that can sense the dynamics of the song and ramp the energy up, or reign it in as needed. Basically a rock drummer with a tiny bit of prog-rock and jazz influence - just enough to keep things interesting without overplaying.
The band will probably be a power trio because it just makes things simpler, schedules wise. We can consider a 2nd guitar/keys depending on the music we end up writing.
