My name is Maurice, and I am a drummer and vocalist in a newly formed 7-piece horn band called Upstate Funk. All members have played in previous bands, all with 10-25 years of experience, and all are professional musicians. We play dance tunes from artists like Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Donna Summer, KC and the Sunshine Band exc....We have a good set list right now and are in the process of booking some summer gigs. We have a current female lead vocalist and we are seeking a male vocalist to share the lead vocals. If you can sing and also play guitar or keys, that’s even better. Our band is solid right now but we would love to add some more vocal diversity and harmonies.
