Like most singers I started off self taught, and at the age of 16, I started taking voice and performance lessons that landed me a vocal scholarship to Concordia University as a voice major. While a true melodic metal singer by nature, The techniques that I learned from classical and jazz training at the collegiate level enabled me to expand my craft whether I'm singing queensryche, or performing at a wedding.
