I started voice when I was 12. At 16 I won the Oscar Philip Steele award for musical potential. It was a scholarship.
At 14 I began singing lead in bands around Knoxville, TN. At 19 I joined a punk/alternative band called The Resistors. Then we changed the name to Candy Creme and the Wet Dream. We opened for The Stray Cats, Iggy Pop, Romantics (many shows), Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others. My voice is professionally trained and I have perfect pitch. I write; some music (I've played keys since age 3 but prefer singing), mostly lyrics, and they rend to,lean towards deep rather than pop or silly love crap.
My voice is strong; I can belt. I love to rock out, not play loungy type stuff. I love blues too. My latest album was in 2p15, band called Shambolic System. I wrote all lyrics and sang all vocals from bass to 2nd soprano, layered harmonies at one point 12 different parts.
