ABOUT

A singer since the age of 5 and songwriter since the age of 8, I'm a Latin artist whose passion for life is reflected in her music.

I'm looking for a band to play live gigs in Miami and gain exposure! I compose my own songs and I'm really flexible when it comes to genres/styles. I'm constantly looking for and participating in recording songs for different causes or just airplay.

Influences

BIO:
Born in Miami, Florida, Andrea grew up in El Salvador where she began singing almost at the same time as she learned to speak. Her first public performance was when she was 5 years old and sang in front of hundreds of people for a fundraising concert for children with Leukemia.

After that, Andrea began performing for many different charities and fundraising events and telethons in Central America, opening for international artist like Paulina Rubio, Thalia, Mercurio, Vilma Palma y Vampiros, Piratas del Caribe, MDO, Ricardo Arjona, etc. She has performed live in Central America, Spain and the USA singing cover songs as well as some original music.

At 8 years old, Andrea composed and recorded her first song, titled “I want to be free”. Since then Andrea has written over 25 original songs, many of which have been recently recorded.

At 10 years old, Andrea recorded a Cover CD with songs by Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Des’ree, The Beatles, Carole King, among others. She later also recorded a Christmas CD with her family – her grandmother is a well-known opera singer and her aunt was offered a recording deal in the 70s.

At 13 years old, Andrea was offered a record deal with the Mexican pop group "Jeans". However, Andrea's parents thought she was too young and as her guardians asked that she wait until she was 18 to pursue her musical career.

Andrea has recently recorded 8 original songs in Spanish and 6 in English for her EPs. You can hear them here on or visiting .AndreaCardenal Some of these songs are now available to download on iTunes.

She has also recorded songs in collaboration with other artists and DJs like HeatBeat (Argentina), Simiente (El Salvador), ANF, Claudio Marchessini, among others.

Since leaving El Salvador at 18, Andrea has lived in Nicaragua, Spain and now the USA. Now living in Miami, she's out to take the music industry by storm!
