SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, Harmonica, Banjo, Fiddle, Steel guitar, Ukulele.ABOUT
I’m hoping to find a guitarist that wants to do some duo-work or a guitarist and bassist for an acoustic trio.
I’m a vocalist with more than 15 years of formal voice training, and a beginning guitarist. I’ve played open mics and have performed on stage a handful of times. I’m an Old Town School of Folk Music alum, having taken many guitar and vocal classes and ensembles. My goal is to get out and make music with other people!
I love acoustic stuff, and am primarily interested in Americana style singer/songwriter material. My early vocal education and experience is heavily within Jazz and Blues, which I use to add variety and create interest in my music, and I’m open to exploring new and interesting twists to things.
I have a pretty good handle on music theory and can read music, tab, and charts and am able to learn new stuff quickly. I have ZERO interest in ‘pop’ country (Little Big Town comes to mind,) or yacht rock, and I can’t stand Jimmy Buffet or the Beatles ¯\_(;-))_/¯.
I’m a positive, happy person that doesn’t bring any bullsh*t, I'm not a primadonna, and would be ecstatic for an opportunity to just get together regularly and play music with others.

Influences
SO many!! Since I gravitate toward the Americana style singer/songwriters I’m into folks like John Prine, Robbie Fulks and John Moreland, Trampled by Turtles, Uncle Lucius, and have a recent thing for Eva Cassidy . I enjoy a variety of music and listen to a lot of acoustic folk & bluegrass like The Henhouse Prowlers, Paradise Waits, Kaleo, and Johnnyswim. I also enjoy Dean Martin, Jane Monheit, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Zac Brown Band, Mumford & Sons, Avett Brothers, Etta James, Sarah Vaughan, The Scorpions, Van Halen, Allison Kraus, The Gypsy Kings, Nora Jones, Bonnie Raitt, Reba McEntire, and way too many more to list.
