ABOUT
I've been kicking around in bands since high school, and played professionally for five years before getting serious about my future and attending college and later, law school. My primary band, Meyer's Mill Band, cut its teeth in bars throughout the Southeast during the early 70's, and was a favorite of the bar scene on St. Simons Island, Georgia. I later joined Shout, and played up and down the East coast in the mid 70's. While in school, I operated Mobile Music, providing DJ services and sound systems for local and national acts such as Ben Dover and Tennessee Tucker, Cullowhee, Banks and Shane, Ricky Nelson (yes THAT Ricky Nelson), Dan Seals and Chuck Leavell. Family life and pursuing a law career intervened. From 2015 to 2018, I was a member of Slackwater, handling keybord, guitar and vocal chores. Slackwater started out as golfing buddies jamming at an oyster roast, and quickly progressed to festival and club appearances. I am now seeking other "seasoned" musicians to share a mutual love of making music and spreading the joy that music brings.
