My roots are in rock, blues and metal. I've spent the last year or so working on my blues CD and I'd like to start something new in an alt-rock/prog gothic metal groove... if that makes sense. I'm a collaborative musician and an experienced songwriter... which means that I think I have really good ideas but I don't like working them up on my own; I am always most satisfied with music that emerges from truly collaborative efforts. I've been playing for almost 20 years, and I've played in numerous rock, blues and metal bands during that period. I've only been in Wichita for about three years and I haven't found the right group of musicians to throw down with just yet... Influences
Everything from Yes, Rush, BOC, Sabbath, Zeppelin and Floyd... to Stevie Ray, BB King, Buddy Guy, Clapton and Joe Bonamassa... to Metallica, Savatage, Dream Theater, Alice-in-Chains, Queensryche and Dave Matthews... I love a lot of new music and have been inspired by Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Halestorm, Within Temptation, Disturbed and others.

EQUIPMENT
I play a customized '91 Japanese Strat with Vintage Vibe HSS pickups and a Fat-O-Caster switch through a Peavey Triple XXX combo (love that real tube sound!!). I also have a '73-ish Electra hollow-body and an awesome six-string bass I recently traded for, with an old beat-up Hartke 1415 combo for the bass. I even have a small PA and mics and stuff, great for practice... though I lack a wealth of practice space.
