ABOUT

Highly creative, original, melodic, lead guitarist (20+ years experience, mostly in cover bands), dying to form or join an original band (predominantly instrumental preferred)... looking for a band or individuals who hold creativity and originality above any particular style. Let’s get together and experiment and jam, have a great time, create, and record our jams, then later scour them for gems and pick ones to further develop... and see what comes out. Nothing serious at first. But if/when we find a groove and things start to flow, then let’s get serious... not looking to emulate any style. If it turns out like pop, rock, jazz, fusion, even county (ugh)... let’s develop it, and if it’s truly original, then maybe it will become an entirely new style!

When it comes to deep creativity, I feel it’s critical to squash the ego, be humble, give players a safe space... zero judgement at first! If someone has an idea, let them go with it, even if it sounds simplistic, silly, or belonging to a style you are not interested in, go with it.
