Carlos Maria, Mexican musician started music since he was 12 years old by studying guitar and playing in churchs choirs, later began his studies in drums with Gonzalo Farrugia (Uruguay) at the “Batacademia” following studying percussion studies with Andrey Tchernyshev (Russia) were he improved his technique and reading skills. Later he studied in the conservatory of the OBC (Baja California Orchestra). After he had the opportunity of taking 2 private lessons with Dave Weckl. He has attended to different Master Classes wich included Alex Acuna and Horacio “El Negro’ Hernandez.
