Looking for a new Band. 973.222.7077 or vckempsonembarqmail
In my youth - music degree at U of Miami, jazz bands. wedding bands, pit work in theater and rock bands. After raising family and absence from music, connected with two bands for last 6 years; classic rock band and quasi Stones tribute band. Both have too little activity and too few gigs lately. Looking for serious, committed musician/band for regular gigging. Want to have fun with dedicated band and quality work.
No boozers, druggies, egos or drama, please... just not interested.
Pretty capable of sliding right into an existing band. Can map out plenty of new songs and fit in quickly.

EQUIPMENT
DRUMS;
1. Pearl Reference kit - Toms, 3 up & 1 down. Zildjian K's and Paiste Signature cymbals galore. Studio quality kit... the best of the best.
2. Mapex gigging kit - Toms, 2 up 1 down with scaled down collection of cymbals.
3. Sonor kit (old gigging kit)
4. Roland SPD-s sampling pad for wide variety of percussion sounds or backing tracks.
5. LP Conga drums and assorted percussion.
Full mic collection for the drums with Yahama sub-mixer, aphex sound enhancer & compressor/limiter/gate processor
SOUND EQUIPMENT... Complete gigging PA - Yamaha EMX5016CF 16 channel 500 watt/channel powered mixer with 15" Yamaha Club speakers & 15" Yamaha Club monitors. Aphex enhancer for vocals, separate dedicated powered mixer for monitors, and feedback destroyer. Three Shure SM58 vocal mics. Two Yorkville 750 watt powered subs. Compact RYB stage lights mounted on speakers with controller. All this stored in enclosed trailer with rolling cabinets for easy load in/ load out. Plenty of power, even for outdoor gigs.
No dedicated recording equipment but have the Zoom H4 audio recorder and the Zoom Q3HD Hi Fi video recorder. The video's you see on this page were recorded from that. Use headphones or good speakers for better feel of sound.
REHERSAL SPACE... Finished band room with another PA (a nothing special behringer) but it's always there and no set-up. Also have a bass amp and cabinet for rehearsal use. Prior bands used it.
